AWAY TEAM ADVICE
• One parent per player is encouraged.
• Players must be showered, ready and dressed to play.
• Changerooms are not available.
• Toilets (Canteen block) will be open for use.
• Must have their own drink bottle
• Must use bins provided for tissues / dirty wipes
• Sanitiser and a hand washing station will be provided.
An isolation area will be available for any unwell player. The team manager will contact the parent / carer immediately requesting the player be picked up asap.
Blue shirt / first Aid- Strict hygiene practices must be adhered to (gloves etc.).
Away teams are responsible for the recording of their own players participating in the game (NSWRL attendance sheet) citing the correct date of play.
Away Players must be aware of the following:
• No handshakes at the beginning / conclusion of game
• No high fives (between own players and opposition)
• No spitting
• No nose secretions
• Bench players must sit on bench 1.5 m apart
• No guards of honour for next team
Conclusion of game - Away team point scorer must wipe down the table and chair using sanitiser provided, along with any other used equipment on the table with the provided wet wipes (place wipes in bin).
Players, Coaches, manager, water runners, supporters are encouraged to leave the field asap, avoid mingling with oncoming teams and supporters (NSWRL ‘Play, get out, leave’)
Away supporters must also practise the social distancing rule (1.5 m apart) and follow any instructions given by the Berry Shoalhaven Heads Officials. Please use the entire perimeter of the field to spread out.
The canteen will be open and social distancing to que will apply.
REFEREE ADVICE
Referees are required to come dressed and ready to referee. They must provide their own whistle / no sharing of whistles.
Referees are required to document their full name, email and phone number on the HOME TEAM ATTENDANCE SHEET (point scoring desk). This also applies to any linesmen / ballboys.
